The first step to selling your home is to have your property “market appraised”. This is different from a registered valuation. Registered valuations are based on historic sales figures for properties in your area, whereas a market appraisal is determined by what I think your property will sell for in the current market.

I will look at your area and surrounds and what it has on offer, schools, shops, transport and so on… I also run a full market analysis on any recent sales in your area to see how they compare to your home.

When carrying out a market appraisal, it helps to tell me about all the wonderful features of your home and why you bought it in the first place. Often, the people who buy your home will be looking for the same things you were when you first moved in!

Based on my discussions with you, I can give you an indication of how much you could get for your property in the current market.
